If these conditions don’t apply to you, you can take the DKT online. You can make a booking to take the Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) in-person at a Service NSW Centre. Take the online test as many times as you need for the one test fee. Most of our tests are delivered online only to allow for equitable access for test candidates.

Once you pass the DKT you can apply for your learner driver licence. You can now complete the DKT at home or wherever you can get online. If you are eligible for a test review, you can apply for this from your myNAATI account within 30 days of receiving your results. This may mean people sitting the test on the same day receive their results on different days. Note that test dates are shown live, which means they may have already been booked by other candidates by the time you go to book through myNAATI.
If you don’t provide enough notice to change or cancel your test, you will lose the fee you have paid and will need to pay a new fee when you re-book.
